Xbox 360 Headset

The xbox 360 headset doesn’t need explaining to you guys and gals does it,I’m sure you know all about it by now,but i can tell you that there isn’t just the official xbox 360 headset that you get with your shiny new xbox,oh no there is a multitude of headsets and out there somewhere is the best xbox 360 headset,but where and which one.Well I’m going to start off with the black xbox 360 wireless headset,its the one i got for Christmas when my original white wired one finally gave up the ghost and clapped out on me mid way through a game of need for speed hot pursuit,man that was annoying,is this headset any better than the previous wired ones,no not really slightly more comfortable but for someone like me that wears glasses most of the time it can be a pain to get it to fit my ears properly and i usually have to first remove my glasses.Apart from that there are no wires obviously and that is a plus,i do prefer it to the wired one but it isn’t the best in my opinion.If your looking for a cheap xbox 360 wireless headset then don’t bother as there aren’t any that are good or worthwhile,you might as well spend good money on one and then you wont be disappointed.The Venom vx comms headset is modelled on the original xbox 360 one except it has a fuller headpiece and the earpiece is huge and padded very well,not sure on sound quality but for comfort it looks pretty damn good.The best xbox 360 headset in my personal opinion although i must admit i haven’t purchased a set yet is the Turtle beach ear force x11 headset,this is a full earphone headset that is a bigger more comfortable version of the old wired headset except it has quality stereo sound for he gaming and different controls for game sound effects and game chatter,the bass on these bad boys is something else,no need to charge as they work off the usb port so they can be used for hours at a time without worrying about charging.Any negative comments i have heard are few and far between and if you are thinking of spending bit of cash and getting yourself a new xbox 360 headset then can i recommend that you at least try the three headsets i have talked about so as you can make your own mind up about which ones you would like,me personally when my next set breaks i shall be getting a pair of turtle beach ones as i like to hear everything when I’m playing Black Ops including people like you sneaking up on me in the long grass….
